How to Find an Internship

Students are encouraged to make arrangements for their own industry internships using the support resources available in our Department.  Dr. Kerry Litzenberg, the Faculty Internship Director, and Mrs. Lauren Johnson, the Internship Coordinator, help students determine if they are eligible to participate in the program and can review the steps involved.  Potential interns must first obtain Dr. Litzenberg’s approval of the internship plan before proceeding further.

Students are encouraged to attend the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Career Fair known as ACE Day, and the career fair held by Mays Business School.  Dates for these career fairs are posted in the Agricultural Economics Undergraduate Office’s News Blog. Additionally, information on some advertised internships can be found in the Undergraduate Department’s News Blog.  Another source for internship leads is Mrs. Brook Dickison at the Career center, 979-845-5139.
